First Icicle Fall

-Hey, you know that upcoming winter? Boy, doesn't it feel like it's coming early? And the lake sure has gotten misty all of the sudden.

Like, no, seriously, it's friggin' COLD near the lake, and the cold just creeps into the village in the form of cool breezes. Some might find this refreshing. Others might find it annoying. But really, the weather is doing some funky cool stuff.

Care to investigate the lake? y/n?-

-A relatively giant iceberg suddenly juts up from the cold deep, settling with a huge splash of freezing water.-

[Adell staggers back startled but on guard when the rumbling and splash occur. The huge iceberg creates enough of a wave to get him wet on the bank, and sending a shiver up his spine.

...Well. That's not something you see every day.]

[Ah total hell! Adell backs up from the shore several yards. What in the Netherworld was going on here? Resisting the urge to chatter his teeth, instead, he calls up some of his energy and he begins glowing orange.

Hopefully, channeling some of this power will generate enough heat to dry his clothes quickly... and if nothing else, it disperses some of the mist around him.

If the icebergs slow, Adell's going to get closer to the lake to investigate again.]

[Adell's the bolder type. Right now, he's gonna go get a look. So, with a massive show of ridiculousness, Adell leaps from the bank to one of the icebergs floating in the lake. He manages not to slide far on the ice, but then regards the lake water carefully.

The surface itself isn't frozen. Weird. Maybe this meant these were unnatural...]

...Huh. Is this some kind of magic?

[Well. That's not supposed to be there. But like hell is he jumping in. He looks around for a moment. Short of breaking off a chunk of ice and throwing it in, he's got nothing to toss in. But whatever this is might not be aggressive, so if there's something down there...

Might as well try to call out to it. If it gets pissed, he can probably take it. Failing that, he'll just throw a chunk of ice into the lake.]
